Advertising WEBQUEST!
There are 3 steps to complete your Advertising WEBQUEST.
1. The PBS Kids website "Don't Buy It!" has three sections:
In each of these sections there are 5 activities to choose from. To complete the webquest, do 3 of the 5 activities in each section (your choice which ones you want to do) and answer the questions for your chosen activities. For specific details, follow the directions on your Webquest worksheet.

2. After completing the activities on the PBS Kids website, your team should work together to take the "Target is You! Alcohol Advertising Quiz" from the Media Awareness Network to find out how alcohol advertisers are targeting teenagers. Although this quiz uses statistics about Canada, the information is still relevant to teens in the United States. Write down the team's score on the quiz on your Webquest worksheet.

3. When your team is finished with the first two steps, you can play a game developed by the Federal Trade Commission so that tweens/teens "can become more discerning consumers of information. The goal of the campaign is to boost advertising literacy by:
